An overnight fire burns down half a duplex in Rancho Mirage

A fire at a Rancho Mirage duplex is contained after burning down half the duplex.

Cal Fire officials say the fire was reported just before 1:30 Saturday morning on the 72000 block of Beverly Way in Rancho Mirage.

No injuries were reported as both units in the duplex were vacant. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
