Rep. Ruiz condemns vandalism of Wang’s in the Desert

This past weekend, the words “Dan Ball Supporters” were spray painted on the door at Wang’s in the Desert in Palm Springs.

The vandalism comes after the Republican candidate for Congress, Dan Ball, posted a photo on Facebook with a Wang’s employee at a campaign event.

Ball called out city leaders and his opponent.

“That city has always been about tolerance. I would like to see the leaders of that city, I would like to see Congressman Ruiz, condemn not only this vandalism but this boycott against Wang’s,” Ball said.

Congressman Ruiz responded with a statement:

“Dr. Ruiz believes vandalism in any form is unacceptable and there is no place for it in civil discourse. He encourages anyone with information to come forward to law enforcement”

If you have any information on the vandalism, you can call Palm Springs police or Valley CrimeStoppers at 760 341-STOP. Tips can remain anonymous and you may be eligible for a cash reward.
