10 arrests made in Cathedral City compliance sweep

Members of the East Post Release Accountability Compliance Team (P.A.C.T.). a multi-agency law enforcement team made 10 arrests during a Feb. 12-16 sweep in Cathedral City. P.A.C.T. conducted 63 searches of homes of subjects on active probation or parole. The subjects in question had prior convictions for domestic violence, weapons violations, gang contacts, drug-related offenses, theft, fraud, burglary, and assault.

The team included officials from the ATF, Cathedral City Code Compliance, and ‘Coachella Valley law enforcement agencies,” per the Cathedral City Police Department news release.

During the sweep, methamphetamines, narcotics paraphernalia, a handgun, numerous assorted rounds of ammunition, stolen mail, and stolen identifications were discovered and confiscated.
