Fourth annual Palm Springs Comic Con takes place

Superheroes and comic book fans filled the Palm Springs Public Library on Saturday for the fourth annual Palm Springs Comic Con.

The free event included comic books, giveaways, a drawing workshop, videogaming, and costume contests. Along with Darth Vader, Godzilla also made an appearance.

“It’s free and it’s fun, but it’s not intimidating for the family,” said founder Shelly Longoria. “You can bring the whole family for free, and every age, every member of your family will have a good time doing something.”

Organizers said next years’ event will be some time in mid-May.
