Indio Storage shed goes up in flames
Nearly two-dozen firefighters were dispatched to a fire at a storage unit in Indio Saturday afternoon.
It happened just after 5 p.m. in the 83000 block of Lupine Avenue. The first arriving engine company reported a large storage shed that was well-involved with fire, according to the CAL FIRE/Riverside County Fire Department.
The fire was under control by 5:45 p.m. Flames were contained to the storage shed and there were no injuries reported. There is no word on how the fire was started or the amount of damage.
