Swarm of earthquakes reported near Ocotillo Wells

A swarm of earthquakes have jolted an area near Ocotillo Wells, south of the Coachella Valley.

Around 7:30 Saturday night, the United States Geological Survey said there had been at least eight tremors over the past 24 hours. The largest was initially gauged as a 5.7 magnitude just before 5 p.m. It was later downgraded to a 3.3 magnitude.
