CVRep celebrates 10 year anniversary with a look at its future

The Coachella Valley Repertory Theater celebrated their 10 year anniversary today with a preview of what is coming in the next year.

The old IMAX Theater in Cathedral City has been under construction to create a brand new theater for CVRep Theater productions. The new theater will house 209 seats for the theatre company’s performances.

There will also be opportunities to name a chair in the theater and purchase other naming rights in CVRep’s new home.

“We are now finishing up the transformation in the next few months of the old IMAX Theater in Cathedral City to make it into a stunning regional playhouse,” said David Cohan, a CVRep board member.

CVRep hopes to have construction done in a few months to hold their first performance in March.
