UPDATE: 11:10 AM. Police have located a critical missing person who initially went missing Wednesday morning. morning in Desert Hot Springs. Audley Fritts, who has possible early onset Alzheimer’s, initially went missing this morning after leaving his RV to use the restroom of the Stater Brother’s located at 13200 Palm Drive in Desert Hit Springs.

Police are seeking the public’s help finding a critical missing man who has possible early onset Alzheimer’s.
Audley Fritts was last seen at the Stater Brother’s located at 13200 Palm Drive in Desert Hot Springs on the at 7:00 a.m.
Fritts, 88, has possible early onset Alzheimer’s as well as several additional unspecified medical issues, according to a Desert Hot Springs Police Department news release. He is described as being 5’7″, 160 pounds with white hair and blue eyes. He has a full beard, as pictured in the photos below, and is believed to be wearing a similar baseball cap, a dark shirt, blue denim jacket, and colored khaki pants.
Fritts was last seen leaving the RV he was staying in to go to the bathroom at the Stater Brother’s and did not return. Fritts does not know the area but expressed ‘a desire to ride the bus’ according to DHSPD.
Anyone who comes into contact with Frits is urged to contact 9-1-1.
