Body found in Thermal, investigators seek public’s help

Investigators are seeking the public’s help after the body of an unidentified man was found in Thermal Tuesday morning.

At around 6:26 a.m. Riverside County Sheriff’s deputies received a report of a possible dead body near the intersection of Avenue 58 and Buchanan Street in Thermal. When deputies arrived on the scene, they located a man who’d died.

Investigators from the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department’s Thermal station and detectives from the Riverside County Central Homicide Unit are investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.

The cause of death is not known at this time. The dead man has not been identified.
