Coachella family displaced by house fire

A family is displaced after a fire broke out overnight in Coachella.

Firefighters responded to a single story house fire near Calle Empalme around 1 AM.

Having to cut through the garage door and get on the roof to contain the fire, firefighters have made progress in battling the flames.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
