Labor Day traffic hits the Coachella Valley

Many people expect traffic on holiday weekends, and before going on your road trip, you plan when is the best day and part of the day to hit the road.

In whitewater where there is light traffic on interstate 10 going west past Tipton Road. This area was mentioned multiple times by some travelers and residents of Coachella valley. Traffic is flowing fairly smoothly.

I also spoke to some travelers at the Palm Springs Airport who say that the airports have been packed but they have not experienced any inconveniences.

There were not as many cars on the road as expected during the evening hours. as for the airport, while I was there, there were many travelers and residents picking people up and dropping people off.

Most of the air travelers I spoke to today were happy to be in and out of the airport as quickly as possible.

"I do expect the freeways to be pretty impacted after a while we decided to get out and do our errands early and then just head home and hunker down for the day" says a local resident. Some lift drivers were giving some their tips on getting around traffic. "Get on that right lane the far right lane" says a local lift driver. "Right so once you get past Palm Springs 111 It's a little exit and you take the street all the way to Morocco. It goes straight to Morocco you get right around".

Traffic on the Highways as of 1:30 p.m. on Monday

During the holidays, around 4 in the evening, you should pack your patience because there might be some traffic on both ends of the Coachella Valley.
