USA Today Food and Wine Experience brings delicious flavors of Coachella Valley to one place

The USA Today Food and Wine Experience is on Saturday at Palm Desert Civic Center Park where Coachella Valley restaurants will be offering up the tastes of some of its best meals.

This is the second year the experience is happening in the Coachella Valley. Last year it was held in Palm Springs.

You can buy tickets for the event online starting at $65. There are also VIP experiences available.

14 different local restaurants will be part of this year's event offering a variety of food and drink samples. There will also be opportunities for attendees to watch food demonstrations from top chefs.

Jared Bobkin, the Culinary Director for the event and former Hell's Kitchen contestant, will be showing people how to make dumplings for one of the demonstrations.

Bobkin said this event is bringing some of the best food and experience from around the Coachella Valley to the park.

The event is being held from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. It is a requirement to be 21 years old or older with a valid ID for entry.

Free parking is available at the park.
