It is a day of spreading hope, courage, and unity in honor of MLK Day in La Quinta

Reverend Doctor Martin Luther King Jr. is being commemorated at La Quinta High School. The theme of this year is Living The Dream: it starts with hope, courage, and unity.

Organizers from the Palm Springs Black History Committee say their purpose is to continue to recognize and educate the African-American community and society about the importance of Black History and contributions made to society by African Americans.
