Tennis enthusiasts and visitors say, Let the games begin at the BNP Paribas Open in Indian Wells

Let the games begin as we can see some of the world's first-class tennis players hit the BNP Paribas Open courts at the Indian Wells Tennis Garden.

It is an international audience at the tennis garden in the Coachella Valley to see the top tennis athletes in the world. There are multiple practice courts where players train and warm up. The BNP kicked off with a Family Day on Saturday, March 2. The games will run from Sunday, March 3, until Sunday, March 17.

We met a family with a 20-year relationship with the BNP Paribas Open, The Pinkerton and Grimes family. "They've been on the court with some of the top players like Nadal and Federer, says Guy Grimes, former ball kid coordinator and the father of former BNP ball kids. "And you know, just being on the court with them with their friends on the team. They had a lot of friends on their team, too. So they all got to do that together. And they just had a great time together."

Molly Grimes and Brittney Pinkerton were ball kids back in the day.

Their father says he is ready to see his grand kids become ball kids too.

Others who attended have come for the first time. "We play tennis in our free time," says Kathryn Richardson, a BNP attendee." But this is our first time seeing a professional player playing tennis. And we're so excited to be here."

Others are tennis enthusiasts like Linda Paulding, who has been playing and teaching tennis since high school. "I'm hoping to see up-and-coming players," says Paulding. "We have a lot of up-and-coming new players that are playing fantastically. A lot of the older ones I've seen, been played with, and probably have helped in years past, but I would like to see what we have for the younger players up and coming players is what I'm looking forward to."
