ATLANTA (AP) — President Joe Biden will be the commencement speaker for Georgia’s Morehouse College and at West Point next month. The Morehouse appearance in Atlanta gives Biden a key election-year platform on one of the nation’s preeminent historically Black campuses. But some Morehouse alumni want the school to rescind the invitation. They oppose Biden’s support for Israel in the Israel-Hamas war. Any opposition at Morehouse could be uncomfortable for the White House and Biden’s campaign as he seeks reelection in his rematch with former President Donald Trump.
