Shooting under investigation in Coachella

Riverside County Sheriff's deputies were on the scene of a shooting Wednesday night, that was reported in a neighborhood near the Highway 86 Expressway and Avenue 52.

Deputies were called to Naomi Court and Perez Street at approximately 10:00 p.m.

They reported locating evidence of a shooting but said they did not find a victim or a gunman.
