Indian Canyon Dr. still closed through Whitewater wash Friday

Indian Canyon Dr. was closed to traffic through the Whitewater wash Wednesday morning, according to Palm Springs Police.

The roadway remained closed Friday morning.

Both Gene Autry Trail and Vista Chino Road were open to traffic.

Indian Canyon Dr. was shut down between Sunrise Parkway and Palm Springs Station Road, according to a police statement issued at 5:00 a.m. Wednesday.

Other alternate routes in and out of Palm Springs include Highway 111, Ramon Road, and Dinah Shore Drive.
