Two people lose their home in Indio to a fire
The Red Cross is helping two adults and two cats who lost their Indio home to a fire Sunday evening.
Cal Fire said the fire broke out at a home off Villa Reale Drive at 9:14 p.m. Firefighters said they found the garage on fire when they arrived on the scene.
The fire was contained by 10:30 p.m. There's no word yet on the cause of the fire.
