Heating up as we hit the weekend

A broad area of high pressure is moving in, heating temps into the weekend and beyond.

That ridge will bringing hotter than normal conditions throughout the desert Southwest.

The atmosphere will remain quite dry, so you can use those evaporative coolers today with dew points down the teens.

Expect mid-and-upper 90s for the weekend. Breezy conditions take us into the lower 90s early next week.
