Tracking gradual warming into the weekend
Gradual warming has taken over as high pressure continues moving into the region in the wake of the low-pressure system that brought rainy, windy, stormy weather across the Southwest. The building high pressure means we’ll stay sunny, with a modest warming trend through the week and into the upcoming weekend. Starting Saturday, daytime highs return closer to normal in the low 90s.

Thanks to some weak offshore flow, we’ll continue to see drier, cooler air — keeping skies clear and if you’re traveling over to the coast, really keeping that marine layer in check.
Temperatures peak Saturday, Sunday, and Monday before a subtle cooling trend begins as an upper-level low approaches the Western U.S. Early next week, that low is expected to move inland, bringing slightly cooler temperatures (mid to upper 80s) and a very minor chance of light showers, mainly in the mountains.

Daytime highs will dip a few degrees below normal by midweek, but our pattern remains mostly dry, with a gradual warm-up possible toward the end of next week. Overall, an absolutely outstanding stretch of October / Fall weather for the desert!
