Banning brush fire

A small brush fire is burning in Banning. At 9:43 p.m. Friday night, the fire had burned 20 acres and was 25% contained. It’s burning off of Old Banning Idyllwild Road. 137 firefighters are working to get the fire contained. The cause of the fire is under investigation. No injuries have been reported. No structures

Coachella Stabbing

Riverside County Sheriff’s deputies are investigating a stabbing in Coachella. Three people were wounded. Sheriff’s deputies were called to the scene at 86050 Calle De Pizano at 9:33 p.m. Friday night. That’s in a neighborhood near Avenue 50 and the 86 Expressway. There’s no word on the identities of the victims or any suspects. News
