Indian Canyons reopens after desert deluge

After nearly a month the Agua Caliente Indian Canyons finally reopened to the public after the Valentine’s Day storm ripped apart roadways and trees, causing incredible damage to the 6,500 acres of tribal lands. Park staff faced huge repairs and cleanup efforts including removing mud and debris from roads, resurfacing pavement and repairing clogged culverts.

Suspect in Aug. 2016 homicide arrested

Police have arrested a suspect in an August 2016 homicide that occurred in Indio. News Channel 3 was able to confirm this with the mother of the victim. Gov. Newsom to halt death penalty

Three hospitalized after rollover

The Palm Springs Police Department announced northbound Gene Autry has been closed at E Via Escuela following a rollover.
