Hiker rescued from Mountain Center trail
A hiker was recovering Sunday morning after being rescued from a trail in Mountain Center Saturday night.
Cal Fire responded to reports of an injured hiker at the intersection of Deer Springs and Suicide Rock trails just before 9 p.m. Saturday.
Firefighters hiked the victim out to an awaiting ambulance. The victim suffered minor injuries and refused medical treatment after being evaluated by paramedics.
