Car overturned on freeway causes traffic
California Highway Patrol responded to the scene of a rollover crash on Interstate 10 in Palm Desert. It happened Thursday morning around 6:30 a.m. on EB I-10 just east of Cook Street.
CHP says the driver, a 40-year-old woman from Arizona, was making a a lane change when she lost control.
The car was on its roof and she was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
A Sig Alert issued for the eastbound side of the number one lane on I-10, east of cook. The road was closed for about 45 minutes and reopened shortly after 7:30 a.m.
