Two armed suspects arrested after foot pursuit in Desert Hot Springs
Two suspects in custody after a foot pursuit in Desert Hot Springs Thursday afternoon.
Desert Hot Springs police officers received reports that two men in the area of Acoma Avenue and Cactus Drive were armed with a firearm and threatening people nearby at around 12:00 p.m.
The men ran from police when officers attempted to make contact. One suspect was immediately detained. The second suspect was taken into custody several blocks away, on the 66100 block of
Desert View Avenue.
Both subjects remain in custody for further investigation. Nobody was injured during the incident.
