Breezy Thursday with more snow at higher elevations

A Wind Advisory remains in place through 6 PM this evening. Winds will be out of the west with a gust potential up to 65 MPH. However, the valley floor will see winds closer to 30-40 MPH. The strongest winds will be in the usual wind-prone areas.

While the strongest winds will be felt in the evening hours, some breezy conditions may persist into the night as winds gradually weaken.

Snowpack has been a bit of a concern this season as most of the storms have brought more rain than snow. This week saw a lot of snow throughout the state. Some of the total snowfall reports for ski resorts throughout the season can be seen below.

The persistent wet weather we've experienced this week is just about over for us. Some additional snow for our local mountains is expected through the end of the work week. Warmer and drier conditions begin this weekend with more seasonable temperatures returning by Wednesday.
