Slow warming begins
Yesterday was nice and seasonal in the upper 90s. Today, we're starting to see temperatures slowly warm. Triple digit highs returned today with a light breeze and cloud cover to provide some relief. Wind gusts will strengthen this evening. Gusts in some areas of the valley floor reaching over 30 mph, with gusts up to 50 mph in Whitewater.
Temperatures are expected to be a few degrees warmer tomorrow, cloud cover and light winds continue as well.
Positioning of low pressure to the west is causing moisture to be pulled into Southern California from the south, which is the reason for increasing cloud cover. Temperatures continue to warm this week, reaching a high of 107° by Wednesday.
Temperatures will cool back down into the 90s by next weekend!
