Car crashes into Indio bail bond business, HWY 111 partially closed
Highway 111 eastbound is closed at Rubideaux Road in Indio following a car crash. A vehicle appears to have backed up into a street light, knocking it over, then a fire hydrant, then into Aladdin’s bail bonds.
The incident was reported at 10:45 a.m. The driver of the vehicle appeared to have a medical emergency which caused him to swerve and crash.
The driver was treated on scene by medical personnel. He sustained minor injuries. According to Indio Police, he may have had a seizure.
The roadway will remain closed for 2 hours to allow for inspection of the building and utilities.
