Woman killed in Coachella rollover crash identified

The Riverside County Coroner’s Bureau has released the identity of a 30-year-old Indio woman killed in a rollover collision in Coachella Wednesday.

Anakaren Sanchez died at the scene of the crash, which was reported near the intersection of Highway 86 and Dillon Road at 10:55 a.m.

A paramedic was seen on scene giving CPR to someone in the crash. It is unclear at this time what caused the collision.

The SUV rolled over during the collision and landed on its wheels.

Crews from American Medical Response, Cal Fire, and the California Highway Patrol responded to the scene.
