Woman Arrested For Setting Indio House Fire

INDIO – A 49-year-old woman was arrested Monday, and booked for starting a house fire that ousted a family from their home.

Carolyn Owens was booked in the Indio Jail.

The fire startedMonday morningat 6:42 a.m. near Chia Circle across of Olivera Avenue. It took firefighters about 15 minutes to knock down.

The family is staying with neighbors for the time being.

No one was hurt.
