Humana offers fans different viewing experiences
Thousands of fans are expected to make their way to PGA West for the Humana Challenge, and while many may walk the course and follow their favorite player, some may choose to watch in style. While there are no bad seats at the Humana, there are better seats. Look no farther than the 18th hole at the PGA West Palmer Private course. “The idea was that when you come in from the course and you look back on this venue, it just gives that enlarged major tournament feel, look to the whole course,” said Humana Challenge board member Greg Helm.
One of the tents that surrounds the final hole is a Humana private tent, only accessible for invited guests. It boasts a bar setup, televisions, and of course tables with Humana colored tablecloths. Guests also have a perfect view of the first tee. “They spend their time throughout the tournament entertaining and thanking those people with this amazing close venue on top of the 18th green, best seat in the house!” exclaimed Helm.
If you’re looking for a similar experience, you can get tickets for one of the spectator tents on eighteen. The Champion’s Lounge offers catered meals and bleacher style seating. Adjacent to the lounge, at the Bob Hope Club, you can table seating and food for sale. While all the tents offer something different, they share one thing: the incredible view of the finale. “When you walk through these doors, and you come out to the theater venue here, it should be breathtaking,” said Helm.
In addition to the tents surrounding eighteen, you can also experience a brand new hospitality area, the Club at Seventeen. It has a sports bar feel, and it’s hosted by the Titled Kilt. “The excitement of all being there, and hopefully 200 to 500 people cheering or whatever for the pro or the celebrity or the amateur who makes the wonderful shot,” said Helm.
Tickets for the Bob Hope Club, Champion’s Lounge or the Club at Seventeen can be purchased on humanachallenge.com.
