La Quinta man accused of stabbing man in Coachella
A La Quinta man was behind bars today on suspicion of stabbing another man in the back during a fight in Coachella.
Sean Edward Patton, 22, was arrested Wednesday in connection with the attack that occurred about 11:30 p.m. Tuesday in a home in the 84700 block of Avenue 52, according to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department. What triggered the fight was not disclosed.
The victim, who was treated at Desert Regional Medical Center, should recover, according to deputies.
Patton was booked at the county jail in Indio, where he was being held in lieu of $35,000 bail. He was expected to be arraigned Friday at the Larson Justice Center in Indio, according to jail records.
