First Alert Weather Alert Day issued for Thursday
The First Alert Weather Team has issued a First Alert Weather Alert through this evening. The Weather Alert Day has been issued due to concerns over road conditions and snow impacting travel above 6,000 feet in our local mountain communities.

Snow is falling steadily in Long Valley behind the Aerial Tramway's Mountain Station:
Wind will also be associated with this passing system. Current estimates have the strongest gusts, greater than 30 MPH, through the San Gorgonio Pass and over the High Desert. The Coachella Valley is trending towards the 20-25 MPH range. A Wind Advisory has been posted for the region until 4:00 p.m.
Here's a quick glance at rainfall totals that have been recorded as of 4:30 p.m.:
Rainfall, while minimal here in the valley, will be greater along the freeway through the San Gorgonio Pass. Road conditions will be slick, so drive with caution.
Mostly sunny skies will return on Friday with high temperatures remaining in the 60s.
