Palm Springs International Airport to open extra holiday parking
Palm Springs International Airport will offer extra parking and terminal shuttle service beginning Monday to help handle the holiday travel rush.
The airport’s Economy Lot on Kirk Douglas Way will open at 4:30 p.m.
Monday, with parking costing $11 a day, city spokeswoman Amy Blaisdell said. Advance payment is required at time of parking.
Free shuttle transportation is available between the lot and the main terminal.
Travelers are advised to arrive at least 90 minutes before their flights to allow enough time to park, check in and get through security.
