Anna Kendrick To Receive ‘Rising Star Award’ At Film Fest

PALM SPRINGS – Anna Kendrick, one of the stars of the “Twilight Saga,” will receive the “Rising Star Award” at the Palm Springs International Film Festival Gala on January 5.

Kendrick will receive the award for her work in the upcoming film “Up in the Air,” in which he co-starred with actor George Clooney.The film is slated toopen in theatres on Christmas Day.

Past recipients on the award include Jessica Biehl, Dakota Fanning, Bryce Dallas Howard, and Scarlett Johansson.
