Stevie Wonder Honored With Medal For Being Named Into France’s National Order Of Arts And Letters

PARIS – It’s taken nearly 30 years, but Stevie Wonder has finally received his medal for being named into France’s prestigious National Order of Arts and Letters.

Wonder was named a “commander” in the order back in 1981, but didn’t get his medal until today. Officials blame the delay on scheduling conflicts.

The Motown great was in Paris to perform and be honored at France’s biggest musical awards show.
