Palm Springs made TripAdvisor’s list of top 10 vacation rental “hot spots” for 2010, taking the number seven ranking.
Palm Springs has plentiful vacation rental options for travelers looking to save money during their stay, according to TripAdvisor, which provides a list of the city’s top-rated hotels, attractions and restaurants.
“That’s great news for Palm Springs, which has a wide array of fantastic vacation rental homes that are private and affordable for our visitors,” said May Jo Ginther, director of the Palm Springs Bureau of Tourism.
The online travel guide also noted the city has a “myriad of shops, restaurants, and spas, but also access to many outdoor activities, including canyon hiking, an aerial tramway and golf courses a-plenty.”
The city has 437 vacation rental properties listed on TripAdvisor.
Palm Springs was the only California city that made the list, which is headed by Kissimmee, Fla.
Other cities making the top 10 include Maui, Hawaii, and Myrtle Beach, S.C.
