Three Arrested After High Speed Chase In Cathedral City

Three people are accused of leading officers on a high speed chase over the weekend.

it started around 10 p.m. on Saturday night near Landau and Tachevah in Cathedral City.

Police tried to stop the driver, but he sped off.

After reaching speeds of up to 80-miles per hour, the chase ended at the intersection of Gateway and East Gate in Palm Springs.

Police arrested 20-year old Edward Williams of Rancho Mirage, 19-year old Devian Clayton and a 15-year old girl, both of Palm Springs.

The girl was released to her parents.

Police say the car was stolen from Desert Hot Springs.
