Two-Legged Chihuahua Finds Home
The two-legged Chihuahua named Roo, who was found abandoned at Riverside Animal Services, found a loving home Wednesday morning, according to Animal Services workers.
Roo is heading to a large, 200-acre property in Malibu, where Roo?s ew family resides.
The woman who came to our shelter today, Yvette Bocz, stood out among those who officially filled out the adoption applications in person, said a spokesperson. (More than 50 applications were filed in person with the staff at the Western Riverside County/City Animal Shelter.)
Yvette wanted to make sure little Roo would live a healthy, happy life as a dog ? and that was one highlights in her application form. In other words, Yvette was not going to treat Roo as a freak-show dog or a dog merely for display purposes. She wanted to make sure Roo was loved as any dog.
There were some really great candidates for this little doggy, but Yvette stood out because she also promised to make sure Roo would get the type of contraption that would assist him get around easier.
