Cathedral City Restaurant Robbed At Gunpoint

Police in Cathedral City are investigating a bold robbery at La Palaba restaurant on Date Palm Drive Monday night.

Three men with handguns entered the restaurant and demanded cash from the owner and three customers. They got away with $650 from the register, and $350 from customers according to the owner.

No shots were fired in the ordeal that lasted about 4 minutes.

The suspects were wearing black bandannas, black clothing and black baseball caps. They are described as black men between 18 and 22 years old, approximately 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighing 180 pounds.

The owner tells News Channel 3 that the La Palaba was last robbed about 10 months ago.
