3.7 Magnitude Earthquake Rattles Border Region

A 3.7 magnitude earthquake shook an area along the California/Mexico border on Friday morning, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

The quake was centered 16 miles west, southwest of Calexico, an area rattled by a large earthquake on Easter Sunday.

There were no reports of damage or injuries from Friday’s earthquake.

According to the USGS, the earthquake was felt the most in the El Centro area, where people reported light shaking.

It follows a 3.9-magnitude earthquake that struck in roughly the same area late Wednesday night and a 4.1-magnitude earthquake that struck early Thursday, according to the USGS.
