Palm Springs Police Search For Gunman After Neighborhood Shooting

Palm Springs police were searching for a man considered armed and dangerous after a dog was shot and killed at a home along the 1900 block of Marguerite Street on Monday afternoon.

The call came in around 4:30 p.m. at the home located near the Cathedral Canyon Golf Course, south of Dinah Shore.

Officers on the scene confirmed a dog had been shot and killed. Investigators were trying to determine who shot the pit bull and how they were related to the homeowner.
