Accused Dog Killer Pleads Not Guilty In Indio Courtroom
A wanted parolee who now stands accused of shooting and killing his ex-girlfriend’s dog on her kitchen floor pleaded not guilty to four felony charges in an Indio Courtroom on Monday.
Palm Springs police said Raymond Alfred Espinoza shot and killed the dog one week ago and ran off from the home on Marguerite St., just south of Dinah Shore. Espinoza’s listing as a wanted parolee and his use of a firearm caused Palm Springs police to warn residents he was armed and dangerous and shouldn’t be approached.
Police responded to the home, where they found He was arrested on Thursday at the Motel 6 on Highway 111 in Rancho Mirage after he called police to turn himself in.
