Prep Tennis: Palm Desert Boys Book Trip to C.I.F. Finals
The Palm Desert boys tennis team dominated Burroughs by a team score of 14-4 and locked down their spot in next week’s Division II Final. Led by Abe Hewko’s three individual wins, the Aztecs cruised through the semi-finals at Rancho Las Palmas on Tuesday. Palm Desert has a shot at their first CIF title since 2002. They also won in 1995. The Aztecs will now prepare for a showdown with Santa Monica next Wednesday (June 1st) at 11:30 a.m. at the Claremont Club in Claremont.
