Palm Desert Woman Arrested On Suspicion Of DUI
A Palm Desert woman who crashed her car into pole and another vehicle was facing a possible drunken driving charge today.
Karen Zak, 61, was arrested on supicion of drunken driving after the roughly 5:10 p.m. accident Saturday at Fred Waring Drive and Deep Canyon Road, Palm Desert police Sgt. Brad Farwell said.
Zak turned south from Fred Waring Drive onto Deep Canyon Road and hit a pole, spun and struck another vehicle waiting to go north on Deep Canyon, Farwell said.
