Palm Springs Collision Kills Woman
A deadly hit and run collision has North Gene Autry Trail closed until further notice this morning.
That includes the northbound lanes from East Via Escuela, and southbound lanes from Interstate-10.
Police officers are investigating the discovery of a woman’s body found dead in the roadway at North Gene Autry just north of East Via Escuela.
A passing motorist called police early Monday morning at 1:35 to report the find.
The department said traffic investigators were currently investigating the incident at of six in the morning.
