2 earthquakes shake Yucca Valley

A 3.9 and a 3.5 magnitude earthquake have shaken the high desert, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

The quakes, which hit at 10:54 and 10:55 a.m., were centered about 2-to-3 miles south-southeast of Yucca Valley and 6 miles west-southwest of Joshua Tree.

There were no reports of damage or injuries.
