Indian Wells robbery

Riverside County Sheriff’s deputies are looking for a man who held-up a woman at gunpoint in Indian Wells.

Investigators say it happened as the victim parked her car in her driveway, around 11:00 p.m. Thursday night at a home on Mockingbird Trail in a neighborhood near Portola and Fairway.

They say the man demanded the woman’s purse and then took-off in a dark colored 4-door sedan.

The victim wasn’t injured.

The man is described as being white, around 30-years old, about 5’10”, with a medium build. He was wearing a ball cap, black shirt, and black pants.
