Fourth suspect arrested in Moreno Valley jewelry store robbery

Police have arrested a fourth man in connection with a jewelry store robbery and shooting in Moreno Valley that led to a police pursuit and forced the lockdown of the Cal State Fullerton campus earlier this month.
The Orange County Register reports that 26-year-old Roosevelt Fernandez was booked Wednesday for investigation of attempted murder, robbery and conspiracy.
Authorities say Fernandez and three others stormed into a combination pawn shop and jewelry store Dec. 13. A clerk was shot during the robbery and the four men, along with a getaway driver, sped away that led to a high-speed chase.
The vehicle was stopped and the suspects scattered, including one who was believed to have hidden on the Cal State Fullerton campus. A search of the campus was unsuccessful.
