Police release names of female shooting suspects
Police are looking for two more suspects wanted in connection to the drive-by shooting in Indio last week.
Officers with the Indio Police Department believe Angelica Flores, 24, and 25-year-old Yolanda Valassco were riding in the Honda Civic that was involved in the shooting.
The suspects are considered armed and dangerous.
Two men were already arrested and are being charged with attempted murder and shooting at a vehicle after a Toyota Sequoia was targeted around 8:30 a.m. on December, 16.
Jesus David Jimenez, 28, of Desert Hot Springs, and 37-year-old Raul Anthony Carmona of Indio were taken into custody three hours after the shooting.
All four passengers in the Honda Civic jumped a fence near Palmwood Drive and Pindo Drive after the driver of the Sequoia rear-ended them following the shooting. Police located Jiminez and Carmona after searching homes in the area.
The two passengers in the Sequoia weren’t injured.
If you have any information about the two female suspects still on the run, please call the Indio Police Department at (760) 391-4057.
